The staff are phenomenal. The hotel is clean. Some areas seem a little older and very minimalist. Not a horrible thing. The pizza needs a little help. Tacos were great but the shell was more pita than tortilla. The complimentary breakfast is fantastic. I will definitely stay again. Super nice to have the complimentary beverages available 24/7.

The staff was very attentive. I stayed due to an impending snowstorm and they made the stay great. The offered to let me use a conference room for a zoom call and even brought be a robe when I was in the hot tub! They are doing some cosmetic work to the front of the building so was tentative when I came I . But with the wonderful staff and nice amenities it’s a great place to stay. And a cool place to have a family weekend (there’s and arcade m/pool/outdoor games).

Stayed here with my 17 year old son, we liked all the different things you could do, all the games and pool. Room was standard hotel room. There are a lot of restaurants in the area. Stayed in six different hotels on this trip and this bed was the most comfortable.

The rooms were really well decorated, and very comfortable. The pool and hot tub area are phenomenal. The staff is always bending over backwards to help whenever they can

Room was clean and comfortable. Very pretty hotel. Decorated very cool!! Loved all the Christmas trees! Nice game room and pool area. They have a nice outdoor area also, with outdoor chess and bags. Breakfast was amazing.

The breakfast was just the standard and the breakfast room was somewhat cramped. The pool was wonderful, but too noisy and full of local kids. The room was great. The restaurant was good, but not as good as expected, considering the new chef,

Why I rate this place so high is because of the staff they are the most friendly people I have ever met. I have never been greeted in such a way that I felt I was visiting old friends. They upgraded my room when they realized how big my dogs were so it would be easier for me to take them out. When I ordered food it was brought to my room and again a really friendly experience. If you need a place to stay in the area just stay here I don’t normally write reviews but I wanted to show the staff my appreciation in some way.

The location was great for Iowa City proper. Was only a few minute drive from anything we wanted to do. Staff was good. Friendly. The pool looked clean.

We enjoyed the music playing when we arrived in the entryway and lobby. Such a nice added experience. The staff are extremely kind and helpful. 9-10pm adult only swim time was nice.
